Details on Acronym:   [SSG95]
[SSG95] (Scodeggio+Solanes+Giovanelli+, 1995) Write:<<[SSG95] NNNNNNA>> N: 122 Object:G  (SIMBAD class: Galaxy) Note:Identical to AGC identification. The format NNNNNNA is always a 6 digits format, corresponding to an internal catalog number: AGC number. First author says: 'Numbers from 330001 to 340000 are assigned to galaxies with RA in the interval 23h - 24h and Dec > 0. (In the same way numbers from 320001 and 330000 are assigned to galaxies with RA between 22h and 23h, etc.) Within this number range, objects were given a progressive number following a criterion of increasing RA, but this was true only when the catalog was first put together some years ago. New additions are put in the catalog without reordering all the numbers: they simply get the lowermost available number in the interval appropriate for their RA.' Objects from the same internal catalog are found in the ref. 1995AJ....109.1451G Ref:=1995ApJ...444...41S bySCODEGGIO M. , SOLANES J.M., GIOVANELLI R., HAYNES M.P. Astrophys.
