| groups from de Bruijne (1999MNRAS.310..585D). The mean ages for these nearby pre-MS stars are 13-19 Myr (UCL subgroup) and 16-21 Myr (LCC subgroup). A high resolution spectroscopic survey of these stars is scheduled to be completed in June 2002. A mid-IR survey for debris disks is underway using the MIRAC camera at the Magellan I telescope. Approximately 30 of these pre-MS stars are included in the FEPS SIRTF Legacy program (Meyer et al. team), and will be observed by SIRTF in the first year of observations. | |
