ey of the Planck satellite. The PLCKERC consists of 9 lists of sources, extracted independently from each of Planck's 9 frequency bands between 30 and 857 GHz. The PLCKERC is a high-reliability catalogue of sources, which is released at an early time compared to other foreseen Planck data products, in order to give the astronomical community a timely opportunity to follow up these sources using ground- or space-based observatories, most particularly ESA's Herschel Space Observatory. It will be superseded in early 2013 by Planck's Legacy Catalogues. See also PLCKECC, PLCKESZ. | |
