Dictionary of Nomenclature of Celestial Objects

The PLCKERC is a high-reliability catalogue of sources, which is released at an early time compared to other foreseen Planck data products, in order to give the astronomical community a timely opportunity to follow up these sources using ground- or space-based observatories, most particularly ESA's Herschel Space Observatory. It will be superseded in early 2013 by Planck's Legacy Catalogues.
