Note:This list reports bright (mv=10-15.5) variable stars discovered in a small fraction of ROTSE-1 sky patrol data. There are 1781 objects, 90/100 of which are newly found to be variable. This project will be substantially extended over the next two years, to include the entire sky north of -30 dec. The final catalog is expected to include more than 32000 variables, most of which will be new.
