Object:(smm)  (SIMBAD class: smmRad = Sub-Millimetric Source)
Note:In preparation.
Survey project is aimed at finding massive precluster candidates using wide-area mapping with the SCUBA sub-mm bolometer camera. As part of the survey we completed 10x10 arcmin maps of 32 massive star-forming regions signposted by UC HII regions and have discovered upwards of 200 unknown sub-mm cores. A number of these show no emission in the mid-IR and are hence cold, massive candidate progenitors of massive stellar clusters. The proposed designation would refer to all the sub-mm cores detected in the survey. More information on the survey can be found at: http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2005dmu..conf..425T
