* show which keywords are available in objects "cone search" - explained in TOPCAT Help (point A.5.4) but it is not obvious
* maybe "cone search" should understand: dd mm ss hh mm ss as a sexadecimal format (without colons ":")
* search inside Help
* "Define raw subset" - some hints about the variable names (table columns labels) and simple examples of usage expression?
* it would be fantastic to workout common expressions to filter and work with tables syntax in all VO-compatible applications; use the same engine (?)
* save session - this would be very useful
* export to VOSA format is needed (possibility to label columns with UCIDs?)
* load many files at once
* interpolating (linear, splines) between points on a scatter plot e.g. for plotting isolines and other drawings

VOSA

* age (and for other things) labels to put on the diagrams

* communication with other VO applications via PLASTIC - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6783 (???) or standalone Java application which will use PLASTIC but will be connected to VOSA

ALADIN

* it would be useful feature to pop-up server selector when you choose inactive stack
* Ctrl+ Ctrl- for "Zoom in" and "Zoom out" it is used in most applications (maybe as an option if somebody is used to F7 & F8 function buttons)
* get SIMBAD information on my object without "Simbad automatic pointer" without loading images

VIZIER

* multiple-objects search from VOTtable is not yet implemented

VOSPEC

* is it possible to send coordinates (several objects) information from other application like TOPCAT and Aladin; I know that VOSPEC is used only for one object but transmitting information as a table will be very useful to handle

GENERAL COMMENTS (about VO software development):

* common mathematical, numerical libraries, syntax translators (e.g. to have possibility to type everywhere hh:mm:ss or hh mm ss etc.), I/O engines are needed

Reason: Keep order and quality of all calculations (it is a matter of believe if everybody use their own numerical libraries). Syntax translators language are different so it is not easy to learn again and again syntax: coordinates, filtering etc. Input and output engines - to be sure that one programme will read output from another (software or service) and there will be enough memory to do that.

* keeping standards of UCDs and checking consistency of data format

* multiple-object search and user-defined queries (not just cone search) are essential for digging in big surveys - I have not found it ready in Aladin, Topcat, VODesktop (except of catalogs with SQL database... but only those :( )
