The role of the DCA-IST is to maintain the global scientific coherence of 
DCA activities. In particular to 

   * Highlight scientific drivers to motivate DCA take-up
   * Provide real science examples for use in the DCA workshops
  and tutorials, and to test and use the services.
   * Identify science linkage across the DCA work packages
   * Pursue the strategies and priorities defined by the Euro-VO
  science Advisory Comittee.
