Details on Acronym:   LCLG

LCLG (Las Campanas Loose Group)
Write:<<LCLG -DD NNN>>
N: 1495
Object:Group of G  (SIMBAD class: GroupG = Group of Galaxies)
Note:In the format, -DD denotes the central declination of the slice, and NNN is a running number, sorted by RA within a slice.
By means of an adaptive 'friends-of-friends' percolation algorithm, a catalogue of loose groups has been produced for each of the slices from the Las Campanas Redshift Survey LCRS.
Each group consitutes a density enhancement of 80 times the mean background number density of galaxies.
