Details on Acronym: LINEAR LINEAR (Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research)
N: ∼25.106Object:? (SIMBAD class: Unknown = Object of unknown nature)
Note:The Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) program operates two telescopes at the Experimental Test Site located within the US Army White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. Although LINEAR was designed for astrometric discovery of moving objects, the data set described here contains over 5 billion photometric measurements for about 25 million objects, mostly stars. The LINEAR Survey Photometric Database is described in 2011AJ....142..190S and is available on the website https://astroweb.lanl.gov/lineardb/ Only the first references listing LINEAR sources are given here.
