Details on Acronym:   SSTNGC602

SSTNGC602 (SMC star cluster NGC602 (Spitzer IR source))
Write:<<SSTNGC602 JHHMMSS.sss+DDMMSS.s>>
N: about 500
Object:stars, forming stars  (SIMBAD class: Star)
Note:This is a detailed study of star-forming cluster NGC 602 in the wing of the SMC. This is an IR source list from Spitzer Space Telescope imaging performed on the region by Fazio upon the commissioning of the Spitzer Space Telescope. There is an accompanying acronym request is for designations HSTNGC602 JHHMMSS.sss+DDMMSS.ss for HST observations (note: fewer decimal places quoted in SST than HST). See also HSTNGC602.
Matches between the SST and HST sources will be noted, also matches to Hutchings 1991, Goulermis 2007, and Schmalzl 2008. Massey 2002 is outside our field of view; Westerlund 1963 includes no coordinate list. Carlson 2007 and Cignoni 2009 use this photometry list.
