ICRF (International Celestial Reference Frame)= (ICRS) = ICRF2
Write:<<ICRF JHHMMSS.s+DDMMSS>>
N: 212+396+109+3414+4536
Object:Extragalactic (Rad)  (SIMBAD class: Radio = Radio Source)
Note:The IAU Working Group on Reference Frames has elaborated a reference frame of 610 extragalactic radio-sources to be recommended by the IAU in 1997 as the materialisation of the barycentric J2000.0 International Celestial Reference System (ICRS, see 1995A&A...303..604A).
New designations have been given to the objects in the frame following the recommendations of the IAU TG on Designations.
The coordinates will be published by April 1997 in a publication issued by the Working Group on Reference Frames.
